Osip Rumyantsev, a Managing Partner with Rumyantsev Legal, Participates in International Forum on Public Administration

On Friday, June 21, the 4th International Scientific Forum “Public Administration: the Role of Citizens in Building a Digital State,” organized by the RANEPA North-Western Institute of Management, was opened in St. Petersburg. Osip Rumyantsev, a Managing Partner with Rumyantsev Legal Law Office, attended a session covering the control and supervisory reform.
The meeting discussed the key issues of the reform, purposed to reduce the administrative burden and to introduce a risk-based approach to audits. Experts also talked about the need to amend laws and regulations to reduce the administrative burden and the long overdue revision of mandatory requirements for entrepreneurs.
In turn, businesses told what kinds of difficulties entrepreneurs face during audits and what they expect from the future transformations. It is assumed that the control and supervisory reform should be completed before January 1, 2021.
